I'm quite tired now after doing six hours of training today, more than any other day. We started with some gym workouts, doing the terrible cycling again, although it was only for 15 minutes, as well as doing some work on balancing and core training. Then, straight after, we went to train with the U-15 team. We separated into defence and attack, with me going to defence obviously. We did a lot of one on ones which was quite hard as their defence and attacking was better than mine. The problem is that my feet don't move quick enough. Part of the reason is that I was tired from the gym but in general I need to improve my foot work as well. We then moved on to doing some more one on one but including attacking and defending crosses and throw-ins. Again, our next training was some more one on ones, except the attackers joined us and we would have to pass the ball to the attacking player. We did some two against two as well. Finally, we ended with a game which I did better on as I was able to complete most of my passes.
After lunch, it was more training with the U-15 team. We didn't do much first as the team was focusing on movement and plays. But we did finish off with a game again. My passing wasn't too great at first, but I gradually got better into the game.
And then there was the night, where we trained with the U-13 and then U-14. With the U-13, we funnily enough did some more one on ones. This alternated from going face to face against each other to running onto the ball from an angle. With the U-14 we did more possession work. I lost focus a few times when we played in a small group and therefore missed a few passes, but when the whole team played, I made some better passes. Tiring day, but good for my fitness.
