In Blackburn

I am now finally in Blackburn!

After a long 8 hours trip to Dubai and then another flight of about 7 hours to Manchester was not a very comfortable experience. But after arriving in England, things are looking good. We started the first day by going Anfield to watch the Liverpool-Arsenal game. It was a fantastic experience since it was the first time for me to watch a game in England live. The game was quite exciting and ended 2-0 for Arsenal. I tried to observe for the right-back often, which was Glen Johnson for Liverpool and Carl Jenkinson for Arsenal, to learn from their positioning.

After the game, we went to Liverpool to have an early dinner. The city of Liverpool was quite stunning and I was surprised with the architecture. There were modern large glass buildings as well as immense old cathedrals. All the buildings were unique in different ways.

Tomorrow, training will begin. Apparently, the coach will pick us up at 8:30 am. I am pumped up for it especially after watching the Liverpool-Arsenal game.
