Break

Normally, there would be games on the weekends. But the U-18 had a game on Friday and the first team didn't have a game either because it is international weekend. Therefore, we had nothing to do other than the training in the morning with the U-15 team.

At first, I was slightly nervous because I haven't played with them yet and I knew they would be good. But I tried not to think much as went on to do some keeping possession with three against one and then later one team against another. My confidence grew as I was able to make some good passes. I wasn't playing fantastically but nothing bad either as we moved on into a game. Before we started the game though, we played a proper game by starting from the goal kick and moving to the opposition's goal but without any resistance. So there weren't any defenders trying to get the ball from us but we had to attack towards goal in a realistic way. It was quite an interesting exercise that one. We did move on to a proper game later on and I played at right midfield. My passing weren't all completed but I had some good moments too with one time I ran for a through ball and played good cross in that was headed over the goal. At the end of the training, that was to be the last football for today.

So for the rest of the day, James and I were able to relax so to recover our muscles from the hard work this week. It's quite a strange feeling actually. Every time when we have training, I feel like relaxing but now that we can relax, I feel like I'm wasting time and I should be doing some football. James's mother met up with some friends and we then went to the Blackburn city centre. There was a relatively large mall but that was pretty much it for what we saw today. It was quite interesting to see more of Blackburn and the people there as well.

Since I have plenty of time this afternoon and evening, I will try to get some school work done.
